SEMPER CAPONE
Name: Semper Reijnder Capone Gender: Male Age: Nineteen Sexuality: Bisexual Group: Zombie
Personality: Before the virus, the term "gentle giant" would fit Semper quite well. Despite how much strength he may possess, he is not one to start or jump into a fight; usually he will sit on the sidelines and watch, or try to break it up if he deems the cause of the scuffle to be stupid and pointless. But because he has been the victim of fights in the past, he'll try to prevent them for the sake of the one being picked at. If asked by a trusted friend to join a fight, however, he wouldn't hesitate to jump in and help even though his fighting skills certainly aren't up to parr. Now that he is "dead" and relies on fighting to survive, his combat skills have improven greatly.
To his friends, be they human (as much as he tries to fight the urge to bite them) or zombie -- or rather, anyone who has shown him kindness -- he is faithfully loyal aside from sudden outbursts of anger and rage. This also goes hand-in-hand with his weakest trait: he is too trusting. The boy tends to see the better side of people, thinking that everyone at least has a decent amount of common sense to know right from wrong. As much as he knows that this is wrong, he can't help but remain oblivious to the fact that there are tricky foxes out in the world who are masters of playing with emotions; that there are two-faced people who do exist. When confronted with other people telling him that his current friends are a bad batch, he won't believe them. The fact that a person truly is bad would have to pretty much hit him like a brick or for him to see his bad friend in action for him to believe that a person really does have a rotten core. And even though he has been hurt by this in the past, he still trust easily and return the kindness shown to him, earning him the reoccurring title of "door mat". Even as a zombie he'll try to still be the "door mat", though his tolerance level for nonsense has dropped drastically.
There is a darker side to Semper, if one could call it that. He has no problem with murdering or death, seeing as he works most of his time in the slaughter house and now, well, he must kill to eat -- as long as the person is a stranger to him. If it ever came down to murdering one of the friends he had before he "died", as much of a hellbent lust for blood that he would have, he's not sure he'd be able to do it. Every time he has thought about taking their lives, his mind has gotten into a massive argument with itself and it drives him mad to the point that he starts yelling his side of the feud, himself being the only one that hears the thoughts opposing him.
Aside from the constant, biting pain in his stomach for raw human flesh, he is awfully confused by the whole ordeal. Often times he can be found at the top of a building, just sitting there silently and watching things go on in the city below. As thoughts of his still-human friends pass through his mind, he always has a dueling sense of loyalty and hellbent anger towards them. Whenever he isn't thinking about them, though, he is often wondering why the virus broke out the way it did and why and how it affected so many people -- and also where he should go for his next meal.
Appearance: Height - 7'1 Weight - 237 lbs Eyeeee :3
If ever you should need Semper, he definitely is not that hard to find. His 7'1 frame makes him stand out from the crowd -- literally -- and he doesn't particularly mind it; the height definitely has its advantages, but also disadvantages: as mentioned earlier, he is easy to spot. He also cannot hide very well unless the covering object is quite large. And as cliche as it is, he isn't very graceful all the time; he can't make his way through a crowd without running into people, nor can he manage to not hit his head on some doorways, which he has small scars on his forehead to prove it, though his usually unkempt, scruffy blonde hair usually covers them down to just a little above his eyes.
Semper's face, in general, is narrow and long with high cheek bones, nearly all of his face and neck covered in all sorts of scars. The boy's left eye's iris is a soft mixture of both clear sea blue and thin spider web-like streaks of dark ocean blue, surrounded by a dark blackish ring, and the vision in this eye is slowly waning over time; his right eye, though, is completely clouded and a grotesque milky color, edged with thin red veins as though his eye were bloodshot. If looked at closely, one would faintly be able to see the outline of the light blue iris underneath the white film; he is completely blind in his left eye due to the cloudiness. He has been blind in that eye for as long as he could remember and no one has been able to tell him the cause of the milky color -- nor did anyone seem concerned about it -- so he has become accustomed to just not letting the mystery nag at him. His nose is slightly angular at the bridge, leading down to the two wide nostrils. Ears are more towards the large side and high set, and he'll claim that it makes him "hear better". His top lip is thin while the bottom one is more rounded, which offsets both of them due to inequality of size.
His torso and arms show that most of his life has been working outdoors and fighting with other zombies and humans. The indentions and slight bulges are evidence of where the muscles are underneath, though is core is definitely not as strong as his arms are. Along his arms are a multitude of white and red scars from accidental gashes, bad knife handling, encounters with mad animals, etc. His hands, hardened by callouses and years of work, are quite large and have long fingers, the fingernails usually having dirt stuck up underneath them. On the upper right side of his chest is a white-pinkish burn mark in the shape of a cross that was made with a branding iron; the burn mark itself is abnormally smooth to the touch, edged with inertwinings of healthy tan skin and white scar tissue.
His legs, much like his arms and torso, are defined in terms of muscle tone. He has gained plenty of strength from dragging, pushing, and lifting animal carcasses, so the limbs are not thin like a lot of others. The hair on them are light in terms of color, nearly matching the same blonde shade as the hair on his head, if not lighter. To go along with his arms, his legs are also littered with scars ranging in all different sizes. His feet are naturally wide because of his sheer size, though it doesn't really help with his balance issues.
And as another result of his massive height, Semper is terrible about slouching since he is usually looking down at people. Even while sitting, his posture is never straight; and if forced to sit straight for an extended amount of time, twinges of pain will spark in his back and force him back into hunching over to relieve the pain. His usual attire, whether it be at work or just roaming about or on the prowl for humans, almost always consists of faded, threadbare, frayed-at-the-ends jeans with a white T-shirt, though most of his are stained with blood (some of it his but most of it other people's), oil, and sweat from helping his father around their stockyard. The old boots he always wears have certainly seen their better days, but they're still holding together.
Likes: Human flesh, watching/observing humans, storms, darkness, chasing humans sometimes, sitting on roofs, snow, windy days, classical music Dislikes: Really hot days, constant sunshine, the virus, why zombies are so hellbent on getting human flesh, senseless arguing, being outnumbered and/or cornered
History: Semper was born in the poverty-stricken area of Appleton, though he didn't mind it. Being poor made his family of five -- two younger sisters, one older brother and one older sister, and his parents -- dependent on each other and become closely knit in their shoddy trailer. His grades were average in school: B's and C's, but hey, he considered those passing grades. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved friends and did anything they asked of him, keeping up the "door mat" role.
When the virus began spreading, however, it didn't take long before Semper began to feel sick. For weeks he stopped paying attention in class and frequently had his head on his desk, trembling occasionally and his skin as pale as fresh snow and just as cold. Eventually he began coughing up blood frequently and one day, during English class, while having his head on the desk, he died. When he didn't move for class change the teacher went over to him, thinking he had fallen asleep, but when she nudged his shoulder he fell limp onto the floor, little droplets of blood running down his chin. The teacher checked his pulse and sure enough, he was dead. She let out a shriek and ran from the classroom, bringing a few administrators with her. Because of the rumors of the Virux virus, they sealed off the classroom, but when they returned to get his body, Semper had disappeared, the window in the room having been smashed open.
The boy was terrified to realize that he was still alive -- surely he had died, but why was he still alive? The pain in his stomach -- something he had never felt before -- along with the burning thoughts in his head, slowly began to tell him the answer. Zombie. He refused to believe that he had been infected, though, so he ran all the way home with a new-found incredible endurance, bursting into the trailer. As soon as his only good eye saw his little sisters playing in the living room, though, he fell eerily silent, and before he even realized what he was doing, he pounced upon them, sinking his teeth into the front of their necks and tearing at their windpipe. Within minutes they were dead, the carpet stained with red. He tore at their flesh with his teeth and ate chunks off their bodies until his older brother and sister came home. They both were horrified to see Semper leaning over the bite-riddled carcasses of the two little girls; the brother charged while the sister ran for the phone. Semper, in a hell-driven fury of hatred, floored his shorter brother and gouged at his eyes with his fingernails, tearing the orbs out and leaving his brother defenseless and wailing. Semper then went after his sister and snapped her neck, dragging her body back out to the living room and set her down, proceeding to then silence his brother by suffocating him.
The first thing Semper's parents saw when they got home was a pile of four bleeding carcasses in the center of the room. While shell shocked, neither of them heard Semper come up behind them with a knife -- he stabbed each of them in the left side of their back, throwing their dead bodies onto the pile also.
For a long time the new zombie stayed put in the trailer, feasting every now and then on the rotting corpses until that supply was out. It was only then that he fully realized what he had done: eaten his whole family. Overwhelmed with sickness he ran outside and kept running, eventually stumbling upon the camp of other zombies. Having nowhere else to go, he stayed there, trying to deal with his raging and feuding emotions.
Code Word: Nummiesssssss :D
Note; I wasn't quite sure about his history or personality being fitting for the plot, so if it doesn't work, I'll change it. xD <3
